Gila Joy Pascale, German, Artist, Santa Fe, New Mexico,
Our ongoing events:
We offer
'Dinner with the Artist' & "FAM" Food - Art - live Music
Open Studio. Dinner with Chef Alberto (or a buffet) at my studio & home gallery. (If you are interested connect with me. These are 'by invitation only' events.)
Look at different art work and ask all the questions you may have. Spend a nice night out and be
surrounded by good Food, Art work, live Music and different artists.
For more information and to RSVP contact me. I would love to hear from you.
In addition to being a creative space, my studio in Eldorado is a place for interaction with art. Many non-artists
would like to take a peek "behind the curtain". They would like to understand how a painting is
created, how a sculpture develops, or what artists feel when they creatively interact with the world
around them.
And we offer:
Guest talks by artists,
Q&A sessions with painters and sculptors,
Discussion matinees (Sundays)
I would be happy to keep you posted on current events.
We also organize "artist get-togethers" where artists can connect, learn from each other and
brainstorm about collaborations.

History of the Eldorado Arts & Crafts Association:
In the early 90’s, a group of 8 artists formed the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association. They met to discuss art techniques and marketing ideas. Then in 1991, the first Studio Tour occurred with 18 participants. Today, the association numbers over 150 members and has established itself as a 501 (c) 4 educational non-profit organization.
Residency within the 3 entrance boundary of Eldorado, and membership in the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association entitles artists to participate in the two yearly EACA shows. The Eldorado Studio Tour occurs each May and showcases nearly 100 artists and artisans in their own studios. The Fall Show, at the end of October, brings EACA artists together in one venue.
Other activities of the Association include monthly Shop Talks, where artists gather in their studio demonstrations, give lectures, and field trips to galleries and museums. Monthly meetings are held to invite artists to present various art techniques and discuss marketing strategies.
As vital members of the Eldorado community, EACA artists donate a percentage of their sales from the Studio Tour and Fall Show to support selected nonprofit groups in the community. This year’s recipients are: The Eldorado Fire and Rescue Dept., the Ken and Patty Adam Senior Center, the Vista Grande Public Library, and the El Dorado Community School art program. Since 2003, the artists participating in these two EACA events have contributed more that $62,000 to organizations within Eldorado.
